I can hear the wheels spinning now! How about a scrappy where we all bring something to swap? This way we can clean out some of the things we don't need anymore and go home with something new?

This is not an original idea. I saw it on the web and it sounded like fun. "Progressive Layouts – This was always one of my favorite activities. Tell everyone to bring an extra set of pictures (preferably pictures they have double prints of). Everyone starts at their station and starts putting a layout together. In 5 or 10 minutes, a timer goes off and it’s time to move to the next person’s station. And you go around the room working on everyone’s layout for a few minutes until you get back to your own spot again. When you do, you may not recognize your layout, but hopefully it will be completed and it will represent the scrapbooking styles of all of your friends."

Also, some kind of scavenger hunt would be fun.

Ok - a few ideas :)

How about some kind of travel crop? A night to work on your travel pages but everyone that has travel pages already made, bring them in to share them for ideas.

How about an ALL DAY crop on St. Patricks Day - green is a must - pay a little extra because its all day - but no food included - we can order our own food to keep the cost down? Ooops - I think I already asked about this but there were classes.

How about - the one on the Saturday right before Easter, do an Easter Egg Hunt like thing around the store. Everyone has to wear pastel colors that night and bring an Easter snack for the group to participate in the Egg Hunt. The "Egg Hunt" could be a few stickers stuck around on various objects in the store, or under seats maybe and be like - a half price class, or crop, or an extra 10% off for the night or 20% off one item?

How about just a pajama party? A bunch of girlie movies like Grease, Xanadu, You've Got Mail and such - pajamas are a must! I sure did feel out of place coming to the store in my pajamas that night...which...by the way I was quite excited about...but then no one else was.

How about a SwapAPicture Crop - where you bring in your difficult pictures, something that you are having trouble scrapping and you have to swap with someone there and they have to do a layout for you : )

A Christmas in July Crop - one of the crops in July we can work on just Christmas cards. Maybe have a discount on the Christmas stuff that night to get rid of the stuff that's there since new stuff will come in for next year?

We could do that with any theme, pets, babies, any holidays or so on. Maybe the 3rd Saturday of each month be a "Sharing" Crop - don't farmers share their crops? For some reason, crop sharing is ringing a bell - but I might just be "corn"fused because Ive been thinking too long!
haha

How about an Under Construction Crop - bring in your unfinished projects - that might get people that normally dont crop to come in and work?
I know a quilting store that does a UFO Night - UnFinished Object Night :) Something like that?

Stuff Your Face Crop? :)) (Since thats what we usually do anyways! haha)
Everyone brings thier favorite snack, chocolate, or dip or whatever thing we go with?

I love Ruths idea of a progressive layout!! We have to do that!!

I had another idea but it left my noggin as quickly as it came!

I also thought of the swapping scrapbook supplies where you might bring in supplies you aren't using
as well as the progressive lay out.
I think both would be fun.
You could also do a white elephant night where you bring in some type of unusual supply or tool wrapped and exchange those. Or have some grab bags with scrapbook supplies that have to be used to complete your page. Kind of like the design contest. Any kind of theme night would also be fun. They all sound like great ideas to me.
